5.4.1 Assignment of the Profibus Address

The Profibus address has to be assigned with the hardware configuration tool.

After downloading the configuration to the PLC system, the address of the T-Guard™

Profibus Client can be chosen like shown above.

5.4.2 Diagnosis with the T-Guard™ Info Menu

The current state of the T-Guard™ Profibus client is to be seen in the menu:

„Menu - Info - Internal data (Page 8, Info Fieldbus)“

The „State“ has the value „Process_Active (4)“, if the communication has been

established.

The „Device Address“ shows the current Profibus address of the T-Guard™ client.
